Kelshi is a small seaside village, in Ratnagiri district, Maharashtra state. Kelshi belonged to Peshwa Dynasty and thus has several temples and structures of historical significance. This place is famous for its Mahalaxmi Temple, which is around 1100 years old and Yakub baba's dargah (considered seventhGuru of Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaja).
